Job Title: Store Executive (1-Year Contract)

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Executive to manage inventory, procurement, and store operations to support company projects and operational requirements. The role requires strong coordination with internal departments and suppliers to ensure efficient inventory and purchasing processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Store Management

Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials and supplies.

Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory availability.

Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of goods in the store.

Implement FIFO/FEFO practices for inventory management.

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies or damaged items.

 

2. Procurement & Purchasing

Source and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies according to company requirements.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers.

Obtain quotations from vendors and compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing.

Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.

 

3. Receiving & Issuing Goods

Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.

Inspect materials to ensure they meet quality and quantity requirements.

Record Goods Received Note (GRN) in the system.

Issue materials to departments according to approved requisitions.

 

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate purchase records, stock records, and supplier databases.

Prepare inventory reports, purchase reports, and stock movement reports.

Ensure documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.

 

5. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.

Work closely with suppliers, logistics teams, and finance departments.

Follow up on delivery schedules and order status.

 

Required Skills

Inventory and procurement knowledge

Negotiation and supplier management skills

Strong attention to detail

Organizational and planning skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

 

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in store management, purchasing, or procurement.

Experience with inventory management systems is an advantage.
