Job Scope:

  1. Client Engagement:

    • Set up and conduct meetings with potential clients.
    • Follow up with existing clients for new project opportunities.
    • Proactively source and establish new accounts.
  2. Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans.
    • Seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and exhibitions.
  3. Market Exploration:

    • Attend local and international industry exhibitions.
    • Conduct market surveys to identify new needs and educate clients.
  4. Administrative & Coordination Duties:

    • Handle all incoming calls from vendors and clients.
    • Maintain logs for RFQs, tenders, and ITBs.
    • Manage supplier lists and handle quotation requests.
    • Prepare costing sheets, issue quotations, and manage purchase orders.
    • Update and maintain tender listings.
  5. Project & Delivery Management:

    • Coordinate with KL office on all trading inquiries and deliveries.
    • Monitor and ensure the efficiency of ongoing projects across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak.
    • Handle delivery orders and shipment documentation, including customs clearance.
  6. Reporting & Support:

    • Prepare weekly reports on inquiries and business activities.
    • Support the Finance Department with billing and documentation.
  7. Networking & Relationship Management:

    • Actively promote and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
    • Assist the Head of Department in expanding the company’s sales network.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of trading experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within Malaysia as required.
